A total of 588 students aged 12-13 years were introduced to early entrepreneurship skills through the It’s My Business program during the 2016-17 academic year thanks to the amazing help of 26 volunteers from Metlife, Aramex, Banque Libano-Francaise, and other professional volunteers.

During Spring 2017, a total of 21 classes--covering 438 students--were delivered in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and the North in the following schools and organizations: Ahliah School, Al Nour Public School for Girls, Antelias Public School, Beirut Aliya Public School, El Hayat Public School for Girls, Jal El Dib Public School, Nader Association, Shakib Erslan Public School, Tabaris Achrafieh Public School, Upper Beirut Public School for Girls, and Zalka Public School.

A big thank you to Metlife for their long-term support of INJAZ Lebanon and for funding both the It’s My Business and Steer Your Career programs during this academic year as well as providing us with their outstanding volunteers.

I really enjoyed participating in It’s My Business. I learned about successful entrepreneurs and how to become one. I learned that each person has the capability to achieve their dreams even if they fail from the first time. I work part-time at a hair salon and through this program I have now more ambition to follow my dreams.”  Ahmad Osman, Grade 8 student, Jal el Dib Public School
