Job Trail
Looking for your first job or internship isn’t always easy, especially when you’re not sure where to start.
Job Trail helps young people prepare for their next step into the job market. You’ll learn how to build your CV, prepare for interviews, and develop the digital and workplace skills employers look for. You’ll also explore career paths and have the opportunity to connect with employers, with the chance to win an internship or a laptop.
Over the course of 6 months, you’ll start with online career readiness training and six sessions covering communication, spreadsheets, presentations, Google Workspace, digital literacy, and AI tools. Selected participants will then take part in in-person Green Career Camps and Net n Connect, before moving on to the internship selection process and the laptop proposal opportunity.
Job Trail Program is under the umbrella of the "EmpowerME" initiative launched by INJAZ Al-Arab across the region and funded by Alshaya Group.

WHO IS JOB TRAIL FOR?
Job Trail is open to young people aged 18 and above, including university and TVET students and graduates looking for a job or internship.
The first phase takes place entirely online, so you’ll need a reliable internet connection, a laptop or computer, and a good level of English to participate.
Job Trail Phases
Job Trail runs across three phases, each bringing new activities and opportunities.
Phase 1
Online Career Readiness & Digital Skills
*Onboarding Session: Introduction to the program and its activities.
*Online Career Readiness Course: Work on your CV and prepare for the job market.
*Six Online Skills Sessions: Develop communication, professional etiquette, spreadsheet, presentation, Google Workspace, digital literacy, AI, and productivity skills.
Dec 2026 – Jan 2027
Phase 2
Green Career Camps & Net n Connect
*Selection: Participants are selected to continue to the in-person phase.
*Green Career Camps: Two in-person days exploring careers in NGOs, ESG, and CSR, while preparing your CV for employers.
*Net n Connect: Meet companies and have your CV reviewed as employers select around 20 interns.
Feb 2027 – Mar 2027
Phase 3
Internships & Laptop Opportunity
*Internships: Selected participants complete their internships, followed by an evaluation.
*Laptop Opportunity: Participants submit proposals for the chance to win a laptop.
Apr 2027 – Jun 2027
